The world is shifting from data centers, to centers of data, where connectivity spans a growing number of interconnected locations that include campuses, remote branches, distributed edge data centers and the cloud. *
*The copywriter has a much better way with words than I do and so I hope they won’t mind me borrowing the opening from their script to introduce this project.
Occasionally a project comes along that makes me realise I know very very little about the tech industry… this is one of those projects.
It’s always a challenge creating an animation for a subject that is completely new to me and this script was definitely packed full of concepts and ideas that took a few more cups of tea than usual to figure out a visual narrative. But that’s one of the fun parts of this job, learning about new industries, technologies and developments… and I love tea so any excuse.
I have worked with BPL for years on many HPE projects… this was one of the most challenging but equally the most fun.
The brief was to create an animation that helped convey these complex ideas in the simplest possible way. As someone who knew nothing about this tech prior to starting the project, I was my own focus group.
